ARTROOM gallery studio workshops is an emerging art space located in Leichhardt, on Parramatta Rd, just around the corner from Norton St & Little Italy. It is a little cornucopia of creativity to which you are warmly invited.

As an Artist Run Initiative (ARI), our aim is to provide opportunities for artists to exhibit their work through solo or group shows, and for artisans & designers to showcase their wares through pop up events. We welcome curators and creatives to hire the space, and for artists to take the opportunity to hold their own exhibitions or enter Open Call Groups shows.

Our space is separated into three areas; with a gallery at the front and workshops and artist studio spaces at the back. The workshop space of ARTROOM has been designed as a comfortable space for contemplation and expression. The space is especially suited to the creation of cyanotypes. Workshops in this traditional alternative process are held in the studio spaces.

A diverse array of other workshops aimed at both the beginner and experienced artists are also offered. These small-sized classes include, but are not limited to Life Drawing, Painting, Silversmithing and Printmaking. Private workshops are particularly welcomed.

ARTROOM is also the home of Artroom Handmade, which creates sustainable small edition items that celebrate nature and sustainability, including handmade ceramics and prints.
